Conservatives lost their majority after UK elections finishing with 318 seats. They were hoping to boost their positions for Brexit negotiations but they lost seats and fell below the 326 needed to form a majority government.


The leader of the Conservative Party Theresa May could form minority government backed by DUP (Democratic Unionist Party). Theresa May seems changed her position about the immigration and now wants to reduce it. “Enough is enough,” and “there is, to be frank, far too much tolerance of extremism in our society” she said after the London Bridge Attack and announced plans to introduce new anti-terror laws.┬áTheresa May’s new stance on terror has irritated other Conservatives.
